Nursery Update

by Justin Russell on March 17, 2009

The good news is that we’ve had quite a bit of interest in our trees since launching last week, and orders are starting to flow. The bad news is that some varieties are already sold out.

Because this is our first year, we’re getting in a lot of plants from a couple of long established nurseries in Victoria. They are experiencing very strong demand from nurseries across the country, and some stock is limited. We’ll have larger numbers of our trees next year, but if you’re keen to get trees in the ground during the coming winter, your best bet is to get in quick before your preferred variety sells out.

Varieties out of stock (as at March 17 2009):
Apple ‘Pomme de Neige’
Pears ‘Buerre Bosc’, ‘Josephine de Malines’, and ‘Red Williams’
Quinces ‘Smyrna’ and ‘Champion’
Apricot ‘Tilton’
Cherry ‘Blackboy’
Peach ‘Elberta’
Persimmon ‘Fuyu’

[N.B. If you're really desperate for a particular variety listed in the catalogue but currently out of stock, let us know and we'll do our best to track it down for you from an alternative supplier.]
