Bespoke Workshops:
For a group booking of at least six participants we would be happy to tailor make a workshop according to your particular interests and on a requested date. Bespoke workshops are ideal for anything from birthday gatherings to a gardening day out in the country with good friends. Give us a call to discuss your ideas.
Other Info:
- All workshops are for a maximum of 8 participants. Receive a 10% discount for group bookings of 8.
- Full day workshops start at 9.30am with morning tea on arrival, seasonal home-made lunch using local ingredients at 12pm, and conclude at 3.30pm. Half day workshops run from 9.30am to 12.30pm and include home-made m0rning tea.
- Workshops include written notes and other goodies to take home. Depending on the season, these might include vegetable seeds/seedlings, home-made preserves, cut flowers, or fresh organic produce.
- Our on-site, “gastronomic plants” nursery will be open exclusively to workshop attendees. It’s a great opportunity to pick up some choice food producing plants so bring along your cheque book or some extra cash (no credit card facilities available).
What to Wear & Bring:
We’ll be outside in the garden for much of the time and most workshops have some “hands on” activity, so it’s a good idea to wear appropriate, comfortable shoes and clothes that you wouldn’t mind getting a bit dirty. Don’t forget a hat and sunscreen. Also, please dress according to the weather. Workshops still go ahead except in the most horrible wet or windy conditions – an umbrella or a beanie may be required when outside! Feel free to bring a notebook, pen and a camera to make photographic notes of the day.
The Fine Print:
- Your place in a workshop can only be confirmed once full payment has been received. Payment can be made via cheque/money order or direct deposit into our bank account (see booking form). Once payment is received we will send you a tax invoice confirming your booking.
- Cancellations are fully refundable if 7 day’s notice is given. If you’re not able to make it on the day of a workshop, please consider offering your place to a friend. We’re also happy to swap you to a different workshop if 7 day’s notice is given. Please give us a call.
- We reserve the right to reschedule a workshop if Justin is ill, has broken his leg, been thrown in jail, gets composted or is otherwise unavailable due to unforeseen circumstances. In the event of this happening, we will offer a full refund of your course fee, or arrange for a swap to a different workshop.
- In the event that a workshop needs to be cancelled due to extreme weather events, we will offer a full refund of your course fee, or a swap to a different workshop or date. Workshops will go ahead except in the wettest, hottest or windiest weather.
